Assessment Tools
We consider assessment tools to be an integral part of the leadership development process. Using a variety of such tools, we assess individuals and teams on leadership competencies and behaviors. These competencies include, but are not limited to, project management, strategy mapping, communication styles, transformation and change, business and financial acumen, productivity improvement, trust, accountability and team work, performance management, and conflict resolution. These assessments allow critical information to be uncovered in a non-threatening way which is helpful in encouraging educated, self-driven planning for the ongoing development and growth of individuals and teams. The information gathered from these assessments is used to create individual and team development plans.
360° Assessment (Customizable, Comprehensive Leadership Assessment)
The 360° Assessment is a confidential, multi-rater assessment tool designed to give participants feedback on their leadership competencies and behaviors. Competencies define the skills and knowledge required to do a job effectively. Leadership as a competency can be defined as the process of managing, coaching, and influencing others to help them achieve desired outcomes. The assessment is used to identify opportunities for professional development, highlighting areas of strength and improvement.
We utilize a leadership success profile to complement the 360° Assessment in a way that allows organizations to prioritize key leadership competencies critical to success. These competencies serve as the foundation of a customized 360° Assessment tool.
Change Readiness Assessment
An individual’s willingness to change determines how readily a team or organization can move forward. The Change Readiness Assessment is a tool that helps diagnose individuals’ willingness to accept new and different processes, customers, technology, ideas and more. The assessment measures communication and information exchange, employee involvement, attitude toward change, goal achievement, and project performance.
Communication Style Assessment (DiSC Survey)
The DiSC Survey is a four quadrant, behavioral model-based assessment tool designed to examine the behavior of individuals in their environment or within a specific situation. Individual behavioral styles are categorized according to: dominance (D), influence (I), stability (S), and conscientiousness (C).
The DiSC is used in training and coaching applications, including organizational development and performance improvement. Designed to complement and supplement existing training programs, the DiSC Survey can help employees at all levels understand their own behavior, learn how and when to adapt their behavior, improve communication, promote appreciation of differences, enhance individual and team performance, and reduce conflict.
Conflict Handling Mode Instrument
The Conflict Handling Mode Instrument is a tool designed to assess individual conflict handling skills, provide an understanding of how different conflict-handling styles affect personal and group dynamics, develop resolution competence, and facilitate team collaboration.
Critical Thinking Appraisal
The Critical Thinking Appraisal is an assessment tool used to identify high-potential performers and evaluate critical thinking skills for sound decision-making. It is ideal for recruitment, promotion, development, and succession planning. It can also be used as an effective measure of the application of business knowledge in decision making, determining strategy, reducing risk, and maximizing organizational performance.
Emotional Intelligence
Emotional Intelligence measures a core set of social and emotional abilities. How well we develop and use these abilities greatly affects how well we live our lives. Emotionally intelligent people communicate effectively, form strong relationships, and create powerful coping strategies. Emotional Intelligence can be measured—more reliably and less controversially than IQ—and, unlike IQ, it can be substantially strengthened and developed. The applications of Emotional Intelligence include selection and succession, development, leadership, team and organization building.
Learning Connections Inventory™ (LCI) (Learning Style Assessment)
Learning is the process of connecting our experiences with the challenges that confront us regularly. The awareness of our mental processes is fundamental to understanding ourselves, others, and the systems within which we work, live, and play. The Learning Connections Inventory© (LCI) is an assessment tool that measures the degree to which an individual uses the following four interactive patterns of learning and operation: sequential, precise, technical, and confluent.

Team Satisfaction Assessment
Improving individual skills, developing effective working relationships, and completing projects and/or tasks govern a member’s attitude toward team experiences. Team members express satisfaction if the team successfully completes a project. The following parameters set the stage for analyzing team satisfaction: expectations, the freedom to participate, progress toward team goals, sense of belonging, and leadership.
