Executive Development
CTI has created custom-designed executive development strategies, processes and programs that help our client-partners achieve their strategic objectives. We accomplish this by demonstrating measurable improvements in both individual performance levels and business outcomes thereby ensuring maximum leverage and bottom-line results. We help organizations successfully address the challenges of their business practices and accelerate the execution of sustainable business strategies. The primary goal of every CTI’s executive development program is to develop leaders who can make a difference within the organization. While each organization faces its own unique set of issues, all typically partner with CTI to help achieve one or more of three commonly shared objectives: to prepare leaders to implement a strategic change and move the organization forward, to enable individuals to enhance specific leadership skills, and to build new or greater organizational competency. We provide services in the following areas:
Accelerated High Potential Development
Every successful leader is distinguished by carrying a series of transitions, just as all growing organizations face crossroad opportunities that place greater demands on their leadership. Our programs help professionals move beyond individual achievement toward effective team driven business management, from functional skills to cross-functional responsibilities, and from the current status quo toward an even greater capacity for change, growth, and leadership.
Executive Coaching
Executive coaching includes group and individual coaching. Whether your issues and challenges are strategic, business related, operational, or people and team related, we work with you individually or in a group format to think through these challenges and develop effective solutions using our cutting edge practices and frameworks. We offer best-practice solutions that deliver one-on-one growth and development opportunities and produce real business results in a short period of time. We link coaching goals to assure accountability to the organization’s vision and strategy.
The role of the coach is to help the client maximize and sustain performance. We do this by analyzing the leader's strengths and development opportunities, clarifying goals, developing action plans, addressing new competencies, and eliminating obstacles that stand in the way of success.
Executive Coaching process involves the following steps:
- Comprehensive assessments
- On-site meetings with key stakeholders
- Individual feedback session and creation of a Personal Strategy Map
- Follow-up coaching sessions
- Tracking and reviewing the leader's progress over time
Executive On-Boarding
Traditionally, 40 percent of new executives hired fail within the first eighteen months. Executives are re-assigned, terminated, or self-select out of the new position. Our executive on-boarding programs and services are designed to assist and support the new executives to accelerate their successful transition into the organization by maximizing their impact, building trust and loyalty, managing inter- and intra-organizational communication, and avoiding the common pitfalls and barriers that often derail leaders in their transition.
We accomplish this by:
- Working with the executive to identify key stakeholders in the organization before the executive’s official start date.
- Establishing goals, developing an action plan for the first 100 days, and identifying early wins.
- Helping the new executive integrate into the organization’s culture by demonstrating that their performance hinges on creating and mobilizing their team. This includes reassigning people based on skill-set and value-add, and/or hiring new people with the appropriate skill-set.
- Supporting and guiding the executive in initiating new ideas and innovative ideas, assisting with cultural issues, working with the executive to assure an appropriate balance between assimilating into the new organization and influencing positive change.
- Providing personal assistance in effectively dealing with difficult people, situations, and circumstances during the first vulnerable year.
- Providing an independent and objective mentor, sounding board, and counselor.
- Helping the executive "own the business" and lead in a way that makes everyone think like an owner.
- Partnering with the executive to develop and implement a strategic blueprint aligned with the organization’s objectives, to include key goals, strategies, and initiatives.
