Strategic Planning

An army does not maintain any constant configuration of power (shih); water has no constant shape (hsing). – Sun Tzu, Art of War

Strategic planning is a process of articulating how a goal can be achieved. Successful leaders keep their plans fluid and flexible at all times in response to changes in internal and external conditions. At CTI, we approach strategic planning as a continuous process and not an event. Our strategic planning process includes:

Assessment of the Terrain

We collect the voice of the customer by interviewing key stakeholders and leaders. We work with leaders to identify any emerging issues, challenges, and themes and assess their impact on the organization.

Development of Terrain Based Strategy

Together with the leaders, we assess the current state of the organization, envision the desired state, and identify and prioritize the strategic goals that will lead to success. The end product is a strategy map.

Articulation and Communication of Strategy

The majority of the typical workforce does not appreciate the true value of organizational strategy. We help client-partners develop a comprehensive communication plan that ensures strategy alignment of all the stakeholders.
